"SHOPPING IN A WINTER WONDERLAND 2014 "
What is the One Stop Shop Hop? The Heart of Texas One Stop Shop Hop is a shopping experience featuring more than 20 "brick and mortar quilt shops" only. It is a "shop hop" in one place featuring vendors that have storefronts. So if you can't drive around and visit all the shops, you will get a sampling of what each shop offers without the driving. This "quilt shop only" event is therefore different from your regular quilt show.
"Shopping in a Winter Wonderland" - We are going from the tropics to the cool blue winter wonderland. Don't be surprise if you see Frostie at this event.
The One Stop Shop Hop will be in a larger area with more vendors this next year. This way we can spread the shopping around. We hope to have more buses, so get your guild or shop to sponsor a bus. Fill it full! If you buy bus tickets ahead of time, you will receive a free tote bag. (Hopefully this will reduce waiting time at the ticket booth).
Everyone and I mean everyone that buys a ticket this year will receive free patterns! We can't wait, it's going to be fun.

Heart of Texas One Stop Shop Hop 2013

One Stop Shop Hop has come and gone!
The Heart of Texas One Stop Shop Hop was a success. It was held January 25 & 26, 2013 in Waco at the Waco Convention Center.
With this being the first One Stop Shop Hop, we under estimated the size of the response from shoppers. The lines were long and crowded, but that was a good thing for everyone, including the shoppers. No one would have wanted to attend a scantily attended affair. Thanks to all the hoppers who made it a success. With such good response from the vendors and hoppers, another shop hop will be in the works. Stay tuned to this website. Many shops ran out of block patterns.
You may download copies of all block patterns on the "Colors of the Sea" quilt page!
